Located directly at the nature reserve Rohr, sustainability has always been central to us and is correspondingly close to our hearts. We are ibex fairstay silver and Swisstainable leading certified and are committed to sustainability in many ways, in our operations, in our interactions, in the region and together with our guests.

... IN OUR ROOMS

As a guest, you use the sauna on request, so we only heat it up when there is demand. Two different waste bins are available in your room for the separation of waste and recyclable pet. We change the bed linen and towels on request during your stay and actively encourage you to switch off the lights when you are not in your room.

... IN OUR KITCHEN

Wherever possible, we buy our products locally and regionally; we have various partners from the Saanenland and the surrounding area with fantastic food. Homemade and self-produced are our top priorities. In the kitchen, too, we place great emphasis on waste separation and regularly check ourselves to reduce waste. A dosing system helps us with cleaning so that we do not use too much cleaning products.

We are involved in local associations for the sustainable development of the region and offer our guests an alternative mobility service. In the summer months, public transport is included for all hotel guests. And all year round, nature can be discovered with Swarovski Optik binoculars - pure fascination!

All our employees receive regular training and we support their personal development. Togetherness is important to us, we live a supportive company culture - we lend a hand wherever there is a need. If necessary, we offer our employees accommodation within walking distance so that they can get to work on foot.
