We start at the Hotel Alpenland in Lauenen, where you will be met by the local guide and equipped with a fondue rucksack. You will walk through the Rohr nature reserve with its unique fauna to Lake Lauenen and then on to the plateau below the Geltenschuss. There you will indulge in a delicious cheese fondue and spy on the local wildlife through binoculars and a heat-sensitive camera. After the natural spectacle, you return to the Hotel Alpenland.

Walking time approx. 4 hours, approx. 500 metres altitude difference. Please bring with you: good shoes, hiking gear, warm clothes, backpack. Registration deadline 16 July 2024.
